WBJEE 2021 : Ranking System and Tie-Breaking Rules
West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam Board (WBJEEB) allocates a rank to candidates based on his/her performance in the entrance exam. Candidates are assigned a rank by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam Board (WBJEEB) depending on their performance in the entrance exam. The board publishes two rank lists for the counselling process, i.e., General Merit Rank (GMR) and Pharmacy Merit Rank (PMR). Candidates who are eligible under the GMR can enrol in both B. Tech and B. Pharm, however PMR candidates can only enrol in B.Pharm. Due to the large number of applicants that apply for WBJEE each year, there is a possibility that two or more individuals will receive the same score. In certain circumstances, a tie-breaking policy is implemented to break the tie.
