The top recruiters at IIT Bombay are Microsoft, Samsung, Google, Accenture, Amazon, Qualcomm, Tata Steel, JP Morgan, McKinsey and Company, etc. During the placement session of 2020–21, the highest package was offered by Sony of Rs. 1.63 Crores.
There were international recruiters from countries like the USA, UAE, Japan, Singapore, and South Korea. The highest domestic salary was offered by Qualcomm, Rs. 46.4 Lakhs per annum.
How are placements at IIT Bombay?
In 2020, during pre-placement, there were 152 offers made and in campus placement there were 821 offers, making a total of 973 offers. As mentioned above the highest package was offered by 1.63 Crores by Sony, the average package was 18 LPA in 2020 while it was 20 LPA in 2019.
